Personal Trainer Overview
I feel that being physically active everyday is important. Not everyone though has the confidence or the time to go to a gym daily. You do not necessarily need to invest in a lot of money to start becoming more active, nor do you need to rush to join a gym. The first commitment you need to make is to yourself. If you commit to yourself to become more active, together we can workout a plan to meet your goals, that also is a plan that fits your schedule and abilities.
Training Philosophy
It does not matter if what your age or current level of fitness, I feel everyone can benefit from being regularily active. I want to help people set realistic acheivable goals. Not everone is comfortable going to a gym, either because they feel they will not fit in, or they do not see how they are able to make the time commitment. I will work with you to find ways to work around your schedule and build your confidence that, Yes you can do this. We will use your body weight, free weights, or resistance bands to help you meet your goals.
Education
Bachelor of Science, Information Systems, DePaul University.
Bio
I grew up dreading gym class and thought The Presidents Council on Fitness was a sadistic organization. I spent many years in the corporate environment sitting behind a desk. One of my employers had a company sponsored gym, and thought I would give it a try. This is where my fitness journey began. I found not only did I feel and look better, but it was something that I DID FOR MYSELF. I have learned over time, what works for me and what does not work for me. I now what to share my belief that everyone can benefit from being active. While everyone can come up with multiple excuses not to exercise, there are very few legitimate REASONS not to become more active. I, nor any trainer can overcome all your excuses, but I want to help you find a way to become more active, no matter what reasons you have for not committing to yourself.
