Personal Trainer Overview
My favorite workout to teach people is with the core ball, I have lost 40 pounds myself with the core ball and resistance bands alone. It's fun and there's so much variety. I also teach cardio, strength training, mat pilates etc. I workout right along with my clients as to provide motivation and proper form. I'm non-aggressive but very motivating and like for our workouts to be fun and full of variety.
Training Philosophy
I believe that exercise is the most underutilized "medicine". I want people to know how amazing it feels to be healthy, eat right and be in shape. It changes everything from the inside out. I will help you every step of the way and make these workouts fun and positive. I will provide a plan of nutrition and before and after photos at no additional cost so you can see the change not just feel it.
Education
NCCA certification in personal training, Diploma in fitness and nutrition, certified in CPR/AED and first aid.
Bio
I am a mother of 2 precious children. I never struggled with weight until after the birth of my second child. I was carrying around an extra 45 pounds and it didn't really bother me much until I saw a picture of myself. Then I decided to do something about it. I went to school to be a personal trainer but first I wanted a more in-depth understanding of the human body so I took anatomy and physiology classes and also nutrition classes and I used what I learned to help myself lose the weight and get into shape. I designed many exercise routines for friends and family and helped them too. I love the feeling of helping people to be happy with themselves and to feel good inside and out. I knew I wanted to make this a career and so here I am. As a child I wanted to be a Doctor, but being on the preventative end is more rewarding (plus I don't do well with blood)
